Breastfeeding Support Services

The breastfeeding support I received from Corinne gave me the knowledge and confidence to continue feeding my 3rd child for much longer than I ever expected to. I had a difficult start to feeding due to complications after the birth and was ready to switch to formula, like I did with my first two children but Corinne reassured me in all the right ways and with her extensive knowledge of infant feeding she enabled me to continue feeding until my baby was 15 months old.

Her level of knowledge is outstanding and her passion for breastfeeding is so evident in the way she provides non-biased and non-judgemental support. My only regret is not seeking her support when I had my first two children. I'm sure my feeding journeys would have been very different if I had.

I have been lucky enough to see Corinne following both of the births of my children. Both needing a tongue tie division ( Corinne carried out one of the divisions ) which led to over a year of breastfeeding with my first born and hopefully the same with this baby.

Corinne on both occasions has supported me with positioning & attachment , adapting it specifically to me and my baby and what would realistically would work well for me following the birth pain wise and for positions that would work well at home with a toddler running around too.

Corinne is a great listener and really gives you so much confidence to keep trying different techniques despite a painful latch. Also has lots of determination to not leave you until the latch is improved and will follow you up the next day to ensure everything is still ok.

Anyone who is under the care of Corinne for feeding support is very lucky to have such a kind, supportive and empowering practitioner looking after them.

Corinne has been an amazing help and support through two breastfeeding journeys, after her kind and patient support I was able to overcome feeding through nipple trauma and infection and tongue tie and successfully exclusively breastfed for 2.5 years twice!

I can’t recommend Corinne enough! I knew I wanted to breastfeed, so when I found myself really struggling just a few days after giving birth I was really upset. Every feed was so painful and despite books and videos making it seem easy, I just couldn’t get the hang of it. I got in touch with Corinne and I’m so glad I did!

Her kindness and understanding instantly made me feel at ease. She was practical and so knowledgeable and took the time to understand the problems I was having so that she could give tailored advice. She quickly got me and my daughter on track and I went on to breastfeed for 15 months. Corinne’s expertise and support was invaluable and I couldn’t have got there without her help.

Initially, we saw Corinne because we were unsure if my son was tongue tied. Corinne had a look and told us that this wasn’t the case and so she helped me with our latch instead. Breastfeeding was completely new to me, I was struggling and desperate for help, Corinne made me feel so comfortable and at ease, after this she went on to help me with sore nipples, breastfeeding positions, and helped me manage my oversupply.

Corinne was there for me through it all; sharing her knowledge and giving me emotional and physical support whenever I needed it. I can see myself having a long and successful breastfeeding journey and this is only because of the care, encouragement, and expertise I have received from you Corinne. We are so thankful!

I contacted Corinne a few days after our baby was born as my partner was finding breastfeeding really difficult. We had received some conflicting and sometimes confusing advice from the hospital that didn’t help. Corinne was amazing - she was able to visit us the same day, she was very kind and really listened to our experiences and was able to offer lots of great advice that really helped my partner with her technique and helped her to feel much more confident.

Corinne’s visit was a complete step change in our new parenthood journey as we went from feeling like we didn’t have a clue to feeling like we could do this! I can’t thank Corinne enough or recommend her if you are finding breastfeeding challenging in any way.

I couldn’t recommend Corinne highly enough - she quickly diagnosed our son’s tongue tie after he lost a lot of weight after birth; she professionally and painlessly completed the division at home which immediately resolved the issue. She also supported us to re-build confidence after trying to navigate a lot of conflicting advice we had been given on feeding.

Corinne is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and responsive - she is clearly passionate about what she does and helped us navigate a stressful situation. All new parents should have a session with Corinne - it made a world of difference to us!

Corinne was fantastic helping with our young twins, and able to share her wealth of professional and personal experience being a twin mum herself. Our 3-week-old son was struggling to latch at the breast so physically being helped with positioning him and practicing getting him on the breast in the comfort of our own home, and having the chance to ask lots of questions was really helpful.

Corinne was fantastic in giving us sensible and fair advice on our son’s tongue tie. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a huge amount of midwifery and infant feeding experience. The procedure was quick and straightforward with minimal upset to the baby. We can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend her services.

It’s also lovely that she comes to you as getting out the house for appointments can be stressful in those early days.

Corinne could not have been more supportive after experiencing a very difficult start to breastfeeding. During her visits Corinne was incredibly kind and generous with her time and after would check in regularly to see how things were progressing, provide advice and, most importantly what all new mums need, reassurance.

Corinne involved my husband in such a natural and encouraging way and at all times was gentle with my son. Corrine is incredibly experienced and so passionate always sharing the latest developments, research and evidence-based advice. Her ability to get my son to latch was miraculous and initially impossible for me to repeat alone but slowly, slowly with her care and support I was able to breastfeed - a dream come true. Thank you, Corinne - I will be eternally grateful.

Corinne recently came to my house to complete a tongue tie division on my daughter. She was so lovely, gave me plenty of information and answered any questions that I had. The division was done so quickly that my daughter barely cried for a few minutes and seemed comfortable following the procedure. Corinne also checked in on her recovery progress the following day and offered further support in the future should I need it.

I would absolutely recommend her to others that may need a tongue tie corrected. 5 stars for her medical skills, communication and general loveliness!

Corinne was absolutely fantastic and pivotal in getting my BF journey back on track - having contacted her to come and check out a potential tongue tie, she proceeded to help me get baby back to the breast.
